JANICE PERLMAN, Ph.D., founder and president of the Mega-Cities Project
Perlman began the organization in 1988 with the intention to shorten the lag time between ideas and implementation in urban problem-solving. Prior to creating the Mega-Cities Project, Perlman was a tenured professor in the Department of City and Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley. She has also taught at Columbia University, New York University, Hunter College and Trinity College as well as several universities abroad. She is an award-winning author and speaker.
