College of Engineering: Transfer Students' Open House

Open House for Engineering Transfer Students

The Oct. 21 open house has been cancelled.

The Open House scheduled for Oct. 21, 2012 has been cancelled. Students interested in transferring to the UNL College of Engineering who want a transcript evaluation should contact Amber Retke, director of recruitment, at or (402) 472-7094.

Students may still attend one of the university's "How-to-Transfer Days" and can register here: You will learn about the transfer process; hear abour career services, housing, scholarships and financial aid; take a tour; and meet with a representative from the college.

Each year, we welcome hundreds of transfer students to UNL and we know you have unique needs and specific questions, which we are happy to address. Transferring can be a stressful time in a student’s life and the College of Engineering wants to make this an easy transition for you! As the only engineering college in the state, we take great pride in providing our future Nebraska engineers with the best education possible.

Our open house on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 will be a wonderful opportunity for you to come for a transcript evaluation, meet some of our current faculty/staff/students, and take a tour of our engineering complex in Lincoln. Parking and refreshments will be provided.

Registration for our Engineering Transfer Open House begins Sept. 4, 2012. You’ll also need to submit an electronic copy of your transcript(s).

For further transfer information regarding housing, scholarships, and other available resources, visit the UNL Transfer Admissions page.
