Do you want to change the world?
-
Do you love math and science?
-
Can you imagine creating the future instead of waiting for the future?
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) student chapter invite all students in grades 9-12 to attend WIIE (Women Interested In Engineering) on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012.
This program, hosted annually on the Lincoln City Campus, is designed to discuss opportunities available in engineering and construction management, with an emphasis on females interested in engineering and science.
Past interactive sessions have included: building a spaghetti tower, harnessing wind energy and a professional female engineer panel. Take this unique opportunity to explore the diverse world of engineering by interacting with current UNL faculty, staff, students and engineering professionals in this one-stop-shop event! Women Interested In Engineering is a free event to all high school students and their parents.
