Course Objectives

For the students to learn:

to calculate quantities in a three-phase circuit in steady-state.
to draw impedance diagram of a power system, and calculate impedance of different components in per unit.
to calculate transmission line parameters for a given conductor arrangement.
to calculate electrical quantities on an ac three-phase synchronous generator.
to analyze power systems during normal steady-state operations.
