For more than 40 years, graduates of the UNL College of Engineering's Industrial and Management Systems Engineering program have added their expertise to the profession, producing graduates who work in diverse industries and organizations.
In 2010, the university announced budget cuts that included the IMSE department's drawdown. Beginning in 2011, the program no longer accepts new students seeking degrees in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering.
- The department's current undergraduate students will complete their accredited degree program, working with faculty who have primarily moved to the college's new Department of Mechanical & Materials Engineering.
Applications are NO LONGER BEING ACCEPTED for the following programs:
- B.S. in Industrial Engineering
- M.S. in Industrial Engineering
- M.S. in Manufacturing
- Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering
Graduate students interested in the IMSE area can pursue the university's online Master in Engineering (M.Eng.) degree program.
