Each autumn, UNL Masters' Week brings distinguished alumni to campus to share insights with students and academic leaders.
For Masters' Week in November 2008, the UNL College of Engineering welcomes Joseph Bryant, a 1977 Mechanical Engineering graduate who is chairman and chief executive officer of Cobalt International Energy, L.P. In 2005, Bryant founded this private oil and gas exploration and production company that focuses on the deepwater Gulf of Mexico as well as other potential significant offshore basins in West Africa.
Bryant's schedule includes visits to speak in Nebraska Engineering classes, tour labs and meet faculty.
