End-of-the-academic-year awards were announced by Lance C. Pérez, Ph.D., associate dean for academic affairs and graduate programs with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering. They laud the top presenters and posters from the April 25 symposium, and celebrate teaching and research accomplishments of the past year. Pérez added that these honors include fellowship/honoraria and also serve as a springboard to applying for other fellowships, particularly the university-level Folsom Awards, with autumn deadlines.
