Scholarship Information

Students attending Rock the Block.
At Nebraska, we strive to make college as affordable as possible and offer several opportunities for students to be considered for scholarships within our college. First-year students are considered for our 4-year renewable scholarships.

Upper class students are considered each summer for non-renewable scholarships. Additionally, the College of Engineering has a variety of programs that provide our students with scholarship opportunities.
Tuition for Engineering, Business and Architecture includes a base rate and a differential rate, which supports additional services, programming and technology for students.

College and Department Scholarships

Each year, the college awards approximately $1.5 million worth of scholarships to first-year and returning students. In addition, departments within the College of Engineering also award scholarships to their students.

Inclusion Scholars Programs

The Inclusion Scholars Programs are made up of Women in Engineering (WIE) and the Multicultural Engineering Program (MEP). These are cohort-based programs that include a scholarship for talented scholars dedicated to leadership and inclusive excellence. These programs are available to incoming admitted first-year students on both the Lincoln and Omaha campuses.

Kiewit Scholars Program

Kiewit Scholars is a four-year cohort-based program that invests in students with exceptional leadership potential. The scholarship covers full tuition for four years, room and board the first year, a study abroad stipend, and more! Ten students are selected each year on the City Campus in Lincoln through a competitive application and interview process. View the website to learn more about the opportunities and how to apply.

Nebraska Career Scholarship

The Nebraska Career Scholarship is $8,000 minimum per year ($4,000 per semester). This scholarship commitment is renewable for up to four years, contingent upon continued funding from the state of Nebraska, provided specific guidelines are followed. Students are automatically considered based on your application (see the website for more guidance).
