Renée Robison Jacobs

Renée Robison Jacobs is a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager and Certified Healthcare Constructor with more than 20 years and a billion dollars of experience in construction project management and coordination of projects from conception through owner occupancy, including facilities management.

Ms. Jacobs’ current position as Branch Manager has her integrally involved in all aspects of the sales and operations for all Kansas Johnson Controls branches. Her leadership duties encompass management of personnel, strategic planning, business and project development, team leadership, customer satisfaction and financial results.

Formerly as vice president of facilities and construction at Saint Luke’s Health System, Ms. Jacobs had oversight of all areas of design, construction, renovation, master planning, and plant operations and maintenance for 11 Kansas City area hospitals.

Ms. Jacobs received a bachelor’s degree in Construction Science and Management from Kansas State University in May 1990. Following graduation, Ms. Jacobs provided on-site project management for the Lied Center at the University of Kansas while working for Universal Construction Company in Kansas City, Kansas. She then spent 6 ½ years working for project owners and developers coordinating and managing projects in the healthcare industry. These projects included $110 million Menorah Medical Center, a replacement hospital that opened in 1996, as well as numerous projects for Health Midwest, a $2 billion Midwestern regional hospital system.

Ms. Jacobs founded RJ Consulting, Inc. in 1998 as a women-owned business enterprise. As the founding principal of RJ Consulting, Inc., Ms. Jacobs provided construction project management services for the City of Overland Park, Kansas, for a new $56 million, 247,000 square foot Convention Center with an attached 20-story, $55 million Sheraton Hotel which was completed on-time and approximately $2,000,000 under budget.
