A new grant funded by NDE (Nebraska Dept. of Ed.)

A new project with funding from the Nebraska Department of Education – a two-year, $556,000 grant titled "The Efficacy of Air Filters in Classrooms on Student Academic and Learning Outcomes" – that will analyze to what extent air-cleaning devices in classrooms impact students' learning and health. Here is a news article - https://engineering.unl.edu/lau-studying-efficacy-air-cleaners-and-their-impact-k-12-students-learning-health/

The new project is built on the success of a completed project funded by EPA. The short title of this project is "School Environmental Effects on Student Achievement” with an acronym – “SEESA”. Started in Nov. 2014 ended in Nov. 2019. Here is the website of this project from our team:  https://engineering.unl.edu/healthy-schools/
