About Global Opportunities
Programs at The Durham School inspire students to pursue engineering and management with a desire not just for technical competency, but also for a comprehensive education, an approach we term the engineer and constructor of the future. This professional focuses on innovation, possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, enjoys global and social awareness, and is a leader in the community.
The Global Opportunities Program takes the concept of globalization to a whole new level by encouraging our students to participate in international internships, study-abroad programs, international conferences, short international visits, and international exchange programs. Formal education in cultural awareness and global issues is complemented with actual experiences in a foreign land.
