AE Sound Booth

PKI 116

PKI 116 is the home to the architectural engineering program's sound booth. The sound booth is used to run listening tests on human subjects when very low background noise is desired. Furniture was added to the booth to replicate a home office environment. An impedance tube is used for testing the acoustic properties of absorptive materials that might be used in a new construction project or building remodel.
