Five College of Engineering students among homecoming royalty

Five students from the College of Engineering are among the 20 UNL students who have been selected as homecoming royalty finalists.

The finalists from the College of Engineering, with major and hometown:

Joseph Farley, mechanical engineering, Omaha;
Zach Foster, chemical engineering, Papillion;
Shane Manning, agricultural engineering, Fairmont;
Mary Pistillo, mechanical engineering, Omaha; and
Claire Uryasz, biological systems engineering, Kansas City, Mo.

The UNL homecoming king and queen will be selected in an online vote of the student body on Sept. 25. The king and queen will be crowned at halftime of the Sept. 27 Nebraska vs. Illinois football game, which kicks off at 8 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
