Life in Engineering: Dr Angie Pannier

All of engineering is a human-based discipline because we’re trying to make the world better for all humans.
Dr. Angela Pannier    Associate Professor of Biological Systems Engineering

Dr. Angela Pannier
Associate Professor of Biological Systems Engineering

Dr. Pannier has a passion for saving lives and making the world a better place, and her research within the area of biomedical engineering helps her achieve this. Her research involves regrowing tissues to use for organ transplants to help account for a shortage of actual viable organs.

She happily involves her students in her research and loves the passion they bring to the table. “I get to help them on their path and I may play a small part but I know that our students are going to go out… and are out doing wonderful things.”
