Engineering is a global major, it’s a global job. We have to work all across the world in so many different aspects, work with all different people. You really have to have a global mindset.

Scott always knew he wanted to be an engineer, and he had a passion for taking things apart, fixing things and seeing how they worked. He was attracted to Nebraska Engineering due to the opportunities it offered, including research, organizations and especially travel.

With a study abroad opportunity he went to sixteen different countries all across Europe, another project helped him get involved with engineering and business majors in Uganda. In all, Scott has visited 21 countries in three years. “I really love it, meeting so many different people and so many different cultures.”
