The Mid-America Transportation Center will host the MATC Scholars Program for students in STEM-related fields October 28-31 at Nebraska Innovation Campus and in the Whittier Building.

The MATC Scholars Program is a multi-day conference that brings students from underrepresented groups together with diverse faculty and encourages those students to attend graduate school by teaching them the skills necessary to succeed in obtaining graduate degrees in their chosen STEM-related fields.

Students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and other institutions across the country are given the opportunity to network and attend seminars given by experienced faculty members and educational administrators.

This program was previously held in 2010 and 2012.
