Welcome students
Welcome to Nebraska Engineering. As the only engineering college in the state, we take our role seriously. Find out why a degree from Nebraska Engineering prepares innovative leaders for tomorrow.
Our Campuses
We have a unique campus system, which benefits our students and faculty. We're one college in two cities featuring three campuses! Depending on the major you choose, you'll spend most or all of your time on the city campus in Lincoln, the east campus in Lincoln, or at the Omaha campus. You might even spend time on several campuses.
Lincoln (city campus) - UNL's main campus
Majors: Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Interdisciplinary Studies, Mechanical Engineering
Lincoln (east campus)-
Majors: Agricultural Engineering, Biological Systems Engineering
Omaha -
Classes are held at The Peter Kiewit Institute (PKI)
Majors: Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management (part of The Charles W. Durham School for Architectural Engineering and Construction); Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering
To streamline your experience on the Omaha campus, you'll apply and enroll through the University of Nebraska at Omaha, even though you're still part of the UNL College of Engineering. We don't want you to miss out on campus life, and this arrangement allows you access to the nearby UNO campus and all it offers.
PKI is an innovative, state-of-the-art facility that features UNL's engineering program and UNO's Information Technology program. By drawing from the expertise of two colleges and close ties to business and industry, students find a personal approach that's both stimulating and challenging.
