Several events and information sessions will help you learn more about the College of Engineering even before classes begin. Then, throughout your time at UNL, you can use our Current Students section of the Web site to answer your questions.

  • N.U.B.E. Camp
    Wednesday, Aug. 20-Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008

  • Omaha Campus: COE Departmental New Student Orientation Sessions
    Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008
    1-3:30 p.m.
    The Peter Kiewit Institute (PKI)
    New students can interact with their department's faculty and current students. Parents are welcome.

  • University of Nebraska at Omaha Durango Days
    Thursday, Aug. 21 -Friday, Aug. 22, 2008 / UNO Dodge Street Location
    Students attending classes at the College of Engineering's Omaha campus are invited to attend UNO's Durango Days welcome sessions.

  • Rock the Dock

    All engineering students are invited to the 2nd annual welcome back event. Held behind Othmer Hall in the back dock area, the event includes a barbeque, ice cream, entertainment and music.

N.U.B.E. Camp
Aug. 20 - Aug. 21:

N.U.B.E. camp is an overnight retreat that gives new engineering students a head start in their transition to college. The camp will give incoming first-year students the opportunity to meet fellow classmates, faculty, and staff. There will be a variety of social activities, interactive team building, and important information.
