The transition from a community college to a major university can be intimidating and difficult. "Will my credits transfer?" "Will I be able to graduate at the same time as my peers?" "Will I like a university?" The Strengthening Transitions into Engineering Program (S.T.E.P.) answers these questions and more.
If you are beginning your education at a Nebraska community college and are interested in an engineering-related industry, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering’s S.T.E.P. is a great opportunity for you.
The Strengthening Transitions into Engineering Programs create a smooth process for transferring from a participating Nebraska community college to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). It’s a great way to take engineering courses at an in-state community college prior to enrolling in UNL to complete a bachelor’s degree. The participating community colleges and UNL work together to establish an effective pathway to UNL for you.
