ENGR 1010: Introduction to Engineering Design
- This course is a one-semester, three-credit hour course introducing students to a variety of engineering disciplines and the engineering design process. Working in multidisciplinary teams, students solve open-ended design problems in the context of energy systems and technology. This is an introductory course to engineering and should be taken by all students interested in the engineering profession.

ENGR 1020: MATLAB Programming and Problem Solving

This course is a one semester, three credit hour computer programming course that teaches structured programming and problem solving using computers. The course consists of a sequence of programming assignments requiring students to write MATLAB programs to solve engineering problems.
