This portion of the College of Engineering website is intended to provide a focal point for students, staff, and faculty where advising-related information is available for "one-stop shopping."  For example, the website provides links where facts about careers can found, and where information about your engineering major and department can easily be accessed.  In addition, this website has pointers on how to get involved in the many opportunities available to you in various engineering activities, how to take engineering courses through study abroad, and how you might help pay for your education through internships, co-op education and so forth.  You can also learn how the Honors Program works in engineering.

In addition, the website has links which show you how to get credit for classes if you have AP, IB or CLEP credit, and what you need to do if transferring courses from other colleges and universities.  Links are also available with forms for changing majors and/or campuses, as well as for declaring a minor.  The website also points you to where you can find information regarding UNL's grade scale, withdrawal policies, drop and add policies, the Pass/No Pass option, how to change course sections, to appeal a grade, and how to get into a closed course.  It even has a GPA calculator which can be used to investigate various scenarios affecting your GPA.

An important feature of this website tells you how to find the mathematics, chemistry, and engineering mechanics resources rooms, and how to find tutors, and other helpful resources.  Access to the UNL academic calendar, independent study, and the undergraduate bulletin is also available through this website.  And if you don't know who your academic adviser is, the website gives you a method of finding that out as well.
