Dr. Fanben Meng’s group in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has 1-2 openings for Ph.D. students in Biofabrication. Candidates with bachelor or master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry/Biochemistry, and other related majors are welcome to apply. Preference will be given to applicants with research experience in 3D printing (additive manufacturing), bioprinting, 3D cell culture, tissue engineering, biomechanics, biomaterials, biosensors/bioelectronics, microfluidics, and medical devices.
