International Innovations and Advances in the Integration of Electrified Transportations and Wireless Sensor Networks

Workshop will be held on Wednesday June 20, 2018

Call for Papers
Electrified transportations, wireless networks and the Internet of Things (IoT) are transforming the way we go about our daily commutes and interactions. With the increased deployment and penetration of electrified transportation, wireless communication networks play an important role in in the successful migration toward the smart grid and vehicular communications. This workshop aims at bringing researchers to discuss opportunities, challenges and advances in the research, design, and development of all aspect related to electrified transportation including and not limited to wireless communication systems. The workshop invite researchers to submit papers on, but will not be limited to, the following subjects of interest:

  • Interconnections and communications protocols for electric vehicles
  • Reliability and cyber security protection for electric vehicles
  • Machine-to-machine communications
  • Intelligent transportation systems
  • Wireless charging technologies
  • Charging Stations communication
  • Infrastructure supporting electrified transportations
  • Connectivity in electric vehicles
  • Electrified transportations and the smart grid
  • Communication systems monitoring and diagnostics
