The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) has announced that Dr. Stephanie Adams, associate dean for undergraduate education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering, will receive its 2008 DuPont Minorities in Engineering Award. The award recognizes Adams' enthusiastic and effective efforts in mentoring women and minorities in engineering, and her energetic advising of engineering organizations that serve underrepresented students. Adams will be presented with the honor at the ASEE Annual Conference and Exposition this June in Pittsburgh.
