Favorite Memory of UNL
Akshay's favorite memory of UNL is when he saw his first Husker football game in July 2019 - Nebraska VS Colorado. As an international student, he always looked forward to this day. He described the atmosphere as "breathtaking".
Future Plans
Akshay will be going on to work with his father, back in India. He plans to work for some years and then apply for a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
Who/What has inspired you during your college career?
Akshay has been inspired by Dr. Carl Nelson. He has helped Akshay to cope up with his studies after he transfered to UNL in the Fall of 2018. There were a lot of credit transfer discrepancies, but Dr. Nelson made sure that Akshay's knowledge was acknowledged. It is because of him that Akshay joined technical clubs like Aerospace Club and EWB.
