College of Engineering students will put their best to the test on Friday, April 26 at the 2019 Senior Design Showcase, which is free and open to the public.

The premier undergraduate engineering student design competition in Nebraska, the Senior Design Showcase will be held inside Memorial Stadium’s East Stadium Club Level. Beginning at 1 p.m., showcase guests will be able to view new and innovative projects from graduating Nebraska Engineering students; cast a vote for the “People’s Choice Award” project; and tour Memorial Stadium and the Nebraska Athletic Performance Lab (NAPL).

Last year, the showcase featured more than 45 student team projects ranging from a working model of a water treatment plant, to a collaboration with a local hospital where mechanical and materials engineering students designed and created devices to help patients.

For large groups attending, Memorial Stadium staff encourages people to secure a tour by going to sds.unl.edu or contacting Engineering Student Services at (402) 4723-3160.
