What do you enjoy most about UNL?:
My favorite part about the University is all the friendships I’ve formed through my classes and participation in student organizations. I’ve met a lot of great people and I can’t wait to see where we all end up after graduation.
Do you have any advice that you would like to share with prospective students?:
My advice would be to step out of your comfort zone while you are a student. Join a new organization, apply for an internship that really interests you, or just talk to new people. All of these experiences can lead to great opportunities!
What do you plan to do after you graduate?:
After I graduate I plan to pursue a Master of Science degree in Assistive Technology and Rehabilitation Engineering. I am hoping this will lead to a career in developing rehabilitation equipment.
What has been your greatest achievement so far?:
I believe my greatest achievement so far has been being able to encourage and inspire younger students to pursue engineering in college and being a positive role model for them.
Of all the courses you’ve taken, what is your favorite class, and what made it so enjoyable?:
My favorite course so far has been Fluid Mechanics. I knew many of my classmates, so I was able to study with them, and, even though it was challenging, I felt like I learned a lot of useful information.
