What do you enjoy most about UNL?:

I’ve loved the ability to be involved in several different activities and clubs with people that have like interests like myself. I have become acquainted with the facility/advisors involved with those organizations and go to them for advice on average more than once a month. All of the facility members that I have met here at UNL throughout the past going on two years have all been eager to help any student. I find east campus is a beautiful piece of UNL; many people are very friendly and acknowledge people. I recommend people to venture over to east campus if they have never been there before especially during the fall because the scenery is magnificent.

Are you involved in any activities outside of class? If so, which ones?:
  • American Society of Agriculture and Biological Engineers (ASABE)
  • Mechanized Systems Management
  • Quarter Scale
  • Fountain Wars
  • Undergraduate research

Of all the courses you've taken, what is your favorite class and what make it so enjoyable?:

My favorite class I have taken so far here at UNL would be History of Rock Music (MUNM 287), this class defiantly was not easy by all means but it was enjoyable to listen to music from throughout history and to learn small facts about each artist.

What has been your greatest achievement so far?:

So far my greatest achievements have been being nominated and becoming an officer for ASABE and for fountain wars. Being an officer for both of these clubs as well as being in the other clubs while taking classes has helped me become effect in managing my time. Another great achievement was being asked fall of 2015 to help with undergraduate research for a professor.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?:

After I graduate I would like to either do graduate school or find a company in Nebraska that will have me use my degree.

Do you have any advice that you would like to share with prospective students?:

Get involved with activities around campus to create your family away from home. These people will become great friends and there is high potential that you could be working with them in the future. The more people you know the bigger your networking system will be come.
