Complete Engineer Fellows Header

The College of Engineering is accepting applications for the inaugural cohort of Complete Engineer® Fellows. This cohort of talented faculty and staff will be charged with advocacy for the Complete Engineer® initiative and with coaching, mentoring, and evaluating undergraduate student development in the six designated competencies.

Eligibility

  • COE full-time faculty 
  • COE full-time staff 
  • Must be available for training retreat on March 10-11, 2022
  • Cohort Leads must have at least one year of employment in the College of Engineering

Commitment

  • Two full academic years after selection
  • Annual training retreat (spring semester)
  • Monthly meetings
  • Approximately 8-10 hours/month for student engagement (workshops, 1:1 meetings, submission review)

Benefits

  • Complete Engineer® Fellow title
  • Faculty - 5% apportionment
  • Staff - 5% duty reassignment

Selection Timeline

  • Application due January 14, 2022
  • Cohort announced February 1, 2022

  • If so, you may have an interview with the Complete Engineering Executive Team.
  • Co-Leads will receive a stipend for this extra responsibility.

Please provide the names of two references; do not submit letters from these individuals. References will only be contacted if needed during the selection process.
Serving as a Complete Engineer Fellow requires unit leader/supervisor approval. All applicants are encouraged to seek support from their unit leader/supervisor prior to applying.
