COVID-19: Graduate Students

Fall 2020 On-Campus Experience

As the College of Engineering and academic departments resume in-person classes for Fall semester, we want to ensure that our graduate students are informed of updates and decisions made within the college that affect you. Our goal is to help you begin the 2020-21 academic year successfully.

Latest Updates

  • N-E RIDE – Shuttles will continue to run on schedule through December 18, 2020 (see N-E Ride); social distancing practices will be followed: buses will run at half capacity (approx. 16-17 riders) with staggered seating, face masks will be required, and other procedures may be implemented. The shuttle schedule may change without notice.
  • COLLEGE CARS – Until further notice, the college will not check out cars in Lincoln or Omaha, due to cleaning and safety procedures. Vehicles can be rented via University Fleet Management
  • Aug. 24 to Sept. 11: disposable facial masks are available to the campus community. The masks — primarily for students — can be found at the Nebraska Union (in a self-service wall dispenser in the hall by the building's west entrance); at the member services desk at the Rec and Wellness Center on East Campus; and in room 232 in the Food Innovation Center at Nebraska Innovation Campus. The masks are also available at the reception desk in room 107 in the Peter Kiewit Institute on Scott Campus (UNO).
