This summer I have continued working with Hampton Enterprises in Lincoln, NE. I have been with Hampton for 6 years. I worked as a Superintendent, the role I have filled for the past 2 years. Over the course of the summer I have been on one job site. I started the AGS Fraternity building in March and will finish at the end of August. There have been a few things that I learned in class that have helped with my career at Hampton.
I have been able to better understand MEP prints and details from the two classes I have taken. I have also been able to use some concepts from the Management classI have taken to help me run a better job site. Throughout the course of my internship this summer, I was able to talk to coworkers about their roles in the company and learned a lot about Hampton and how all the pieces work together. I have learned a lot during my internship, as I do every day working at Hampton. I look forward to finishing out my summer internship and continuing my career at Hampton.
