Stephanie J. Guy
Stephanie J. Guy, P.E., LEED AP, is an Associate Principal in the Omaha headquarters of Alvine Engineering. Her duties have included production coordination, project design, project staffing, leading a team of mechanical engineers, and project management on a variety of different projects, including university, high-rise residential, Class 'A' high-rise office, and hospitality buildings. She has worked for Alvine Engineering since 2010.
Steph earned her bachelor and master's degrees in architectural engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering in 2005. She and her husband, Bryan, are proud parents of four girls.
Steph is a member of the Omaha chapter of ASHRAE, as well as the Flatwater Chapter of the US Green Building Council. She was very involved in the formation of the Nebraska Architectural Engineering Institute (AEI) local chapter and is currently serving on the National Board of Governors for AEI. She is serving as President for the 2017-2018 AEI year and is helping to chair the 2018 AEI Forum in Omaha in April.
Steph serves as a mechanical engineer for multiple projects in the Omaha and greater Nebraska area. She also works on projects outside the state of Nebraska, including multiple projects in downtown Chicago. Steph was instrumental in the research and presentation of sustainable energy options for the University of Nebraska Omaha and has helped Creighton University achieve some sustainability goals by including renewable energy solutions in several projects on their campus.
