I started my journey at CCC in Columbus, Nebraska doing my general classes done while playing soccer. I decided to come to UNL and study for my construction management degree. I am now a senior in the program and look forward to graduation in December. I am now a part of the Hausmann Construction team in Lincoln Nebraska as a project manager intern. I am working on a parking garage for the City of Lincoln in the Haymarket area.
During this internship I have learned the importance of documentation of every little detail that happens on site. I have also learned how to manage time better and be aware of my own schedule day to day. I have been working and learning a lot while on site. I am in charge of submittals from subcontractors. I am in charge of all RFI’s and their distribution. I am also in charge of progress updates on our project.
