Major: Civil Engineering

About Dylan
I was motivated to become a Grand Challenge Scholar because I want to be a part of advancing society. I believe Restoring and Improving Urban Infrastructure is at the forefront of improving the quality of life of a civilization. As natural disasters and infrastructure failures threaten lives worldwide, this challenge becomes increasingly more important. I ultimately hope to become a civil engineer dedicated to helping the community and its citizens. The Grand Challenge Scholar program will allow me to focus my experiences and education towards something bigger than myself. This program will push me to explore different ways to educate myself to accomplish my goals.
