About Shubhendu Bhardwaj

Dr. Bhardwaj is conducting research in the areas of electromagnetics with special interests in high frequency device modeling as well as antennas and RF systems for wireless communication and sensing. He finished his Bachelor degree from IIT, Dhanbad, India in 2008, Masters from University of California, Los Angeles in 2012 and PhD from The Ohio State University in 2017. He worked for Samsung in India for two years. His past research experience span over the areas of THz slow-wave devices, AI enabled EM modeling, antennas, terahertz and millimeter wave antennas / measurement systems, electronic modeling for semiconductor devices. During past years, he has received best-paper awards for his research work, including URSI-GASS-2017 (best student paper award), iWat-2017 (best student paper award), AMTA-2014 and 2015 (best student paper award), and university level awards at the Ohio State University- Presidential Fellowship and Louise B. Vetter Award. His research in recent past is funded by NSF, DARPA and Air-force SBIR programs.
