Pejman Ghasemzadeh received his M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 2020 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lincoln, NE, USA, where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is expected to receive his Ph.D. in May 2023. He has been a research assistant at the Advanced Telecommunication Engineering Laboratory (TEL). He has authored more than 25 technical research papers covering topics in wireless communications, signal processing, backscatter communications and machine/deep learning in IEEE and ASME transactions, journals and international conferences. He has also served as a technical reviewer for several IEEE transactions, journals and international conferences.
