EE alum Feuerberg to give seminar on careers in power & utility industries

Electrical Engineering alumnus Stan Feuerberg, president and CEO for the Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative that serves the Washington, D.C. metro area, will present a special seminar, "Careers & Opportunities in the Power & Utility Industries," on Tuesday, March 14 from 3-4 p.m. in W213 Nebraska Hall.

The seminar is being hosted by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Feuerberg also serves as the chairman of the board for NOVEC’s subsidiaries, NOVEC Solutions, NOVEC Energy Production, and as a director of the Virginia-Maryland-Delaware statewide electric cooperative association.

He has also held positions at the Vermont Electric Power Company, the Western Area Power Administration, and the Nebraska Municipal Energy Agency/Nebraska Municipal Power Pool.

Feuerberg graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). He also earned his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from UNL's College of Law.
