Which faculty/staff has inspired you during your college career, and who you would like us to recognize on your behalf
Professor Matthew Barrows

Favorite Memory of UNL
Galileo's favorite memory of UNL is meeting all his friends and wonderful people that came from different parts of the country and the world that will be a part of his journey moving forward. Also, being a part of the most electric fan base in the nation for the Huskers on college gamedays. Whether they won or loss, it was an unimaginable experience that he was glad to be a part of.

Future Plans
Galileo will be going on to work with Kiewit Corporation as a field/office engineer in construction for their Central Infrastructure District. He hopes to work up to ranks to one day become a Safety Manager for the company, as he would like to work to ensure the safety of his future coworkers.

Who/What has inspired you during your college career?
Galileo has been inspired by his time being involved with Associated General Contractors (AGC). When he joined during his freshman year he didn't know what to expect from them since they were the only construction student organization on campus. The first meeting he attended he took the initiative to talk to one of the Student Officers and got his name out immediately. By the end of his first year everyone knew who he was due to his high level of involvement. That involvement helped him get a summer internship for all three years and his full-time job after college. He wanted to be an inspiration to the younger students just like the officers before were to him. Galileo held a position as a Secretary his junior year and most recently during his senior year became the President of AGC at UNL.
