IES 2014 Brandston Honorable Mention Awarded to Boyd and Wright

Justin Boyd and Geof Wright, architectural engineering students with UNL’s Durham School of Architectural Engineering & Construction, were recipients of an Honorable Mention for the 2014 Howard Brandston Student Lighting Design Education Grant for their entry in the prestigious competition with the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.

Under the leadership and expertise of Durham School industry fellows, Rodrigo Manriquez of SmithGroupJJR, and Michelle Eble-Hankins of Alvine Engineering, Boyd and Wright continued the school's consecutive streak of victories in this competition.

Durham School students took home their first victory in 2009, and have either received first or honorable mention since the streak began, including top place victories in 2010, 2011, 2013, and honorable mention in 2011.
