Phase I construction on City Campus is taking shape as the new “link” reflects its progress along 16th Street and renovations begin in earnest inside Scott Engineering Center.

From an exterior standpoint, the view from 16th Street shows windows installed and groundwork for the link replacement rounding into completion. Much of the remaining construction work is relegated to the interior, including wall and ceiling device installation, flooring activities, doors and hardware installation, and overhead piping and plumbing work. Additionally, renovations to Scott Engineering Center will include window replacements, ongoing mechanical installations and duct work.

Construction on north ADA entrances to Nebraska Hall is ongoing as is construction on Kiewit Hall with the installation of auger cast piles. As always, progress on the college’s $172 million multi-phase facilities projects is updated frequently and can be viewed live on the College of Engineering’s Construction Central website.
