Structural work on Kiewit Hall continues on the building located at the intersection of 17th and Vine Streets with much of the construction this spring and over the course of the next couple of weeks interior work. Several levels of Kiewit Hall include drywall installation, the lower level and level 1. Lower level work includes mechanical room piping, fire sprinkler installation, drywall tape and finish, while level 3 features hydronic piping and plumbing installation. Level 4 ductwork, electrical and hydronic piping is being installed while fireproofing and penthouse framing continue on the sixth level.

Additional construction involving Kiewit Hall includes handrail installation on several staircases, curtainwall gaskets and trim, and the installation of the exterior stone veneer. Meanwhile, renovations at Scott Engineering Center (SEC) involve work on the building’s high bay, including steel installation. More HVAC areas are nearing completion inside the building, while additional planting is scheduled this spring for landscaping the exterior of SEC.
