Construction continues on City Campus with several projects taking on a different look and entering new phases as a new year approaches.

Phase 1 on City Campus, the new engineering research center and formerly “the Link” between Nebraska Hall and Scott Engineering Center, began welcoming lab equipment and new technology in November. Lighting and ceilings are being installed on three levels of the research center as the interior nears completion. The outside of the building is also receiving some final touches to its construction, including paving of entrance and sidewalks as well as green spaces being filled and graded.

Construction also continues on two entrances on the north side of Nebraska Hall with glazing and interior finishes being added this month. And shallow foundations and foundation waterproofing has begun in the construction of Kiewit Hall on the east side of Othmer Hall along Vine Street.
