Favorite Memory of UNL
One of Jake's favorite memories from UNL is from his sophomore year when he was a member of the UNL Unmanned Aerial Vehicles team. After several months of development and engineering, Jake remembers the incredible moment when the team's custom-built drone flew autonomously for the first time.
Future Plans
Jake will be flying out to the Silicon Valley to work for Box, Inc., a leader in cloud content management. There, he'll be working on the Partner Integrations team, where he interned the previous summer.
Who/What has inspired you during your college career?
When he was a freshman, Jake was inspired by many of the upperclassmen he encountered in classes and around campus. These upperclassmen showed him how to lead a small team, how to challenge assumptions, and how to pass on what he's learned to others.
