The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Master of Engineering Management (MEM) program is ranked in the top 20 on two of CollegeChoice.net’s annual lists of the top online engineering management programs.

The Nebraska MEM is No. 18 for Most Affordable Online Master’s in Engineering Management  and is No. 19 for Best Online Master’s in Engineering Management

In the most recent U.S. News and World Report rankings of the Best Online Graduate Engineering Programs, Nebraska’s MEM program ranked No. 29.

The College of Engineering, in collaboration with the College of Business MBA Program offers the Master of Engineering Management, a professional practice-oriented advanced degree. It is a 30-credit hour program with courses taught in accelerated eight-week sessions.

The MEM is designed for individuals who have a degree in engineering or quantitative area. The degree is appropriate for engineers in all fields and can either be completed entirely online or online with some in-class engineering electives offered on the City or Scott Campuses. 

The MEM program provides students with technical project management and organizational leadership skills in the engineering workplace. Students integrate business and engineering principles in solving problems, making decisions and managing risks in complex engineering scenarios. This practice empowers students to confidently lead projects that are both innovative and cost effective.
