Nebraska Engineering students Stephen Cahoy and Drew Wiseman represented UNL at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, June 10-13 in Eugene, Ore.

Cahoy, a sophomore in biological systems engineering, finished in a tie for 16th place in the men's pole vault with a best leap of 16 feet, 10 3/4 inches. He entered the NCAA meet tied with 12 other athletes for the best qualifying jump (17 feet 6 1/2 inches).

Drew Wiseman, a junior in electrical engineering, had the 14th best time (51.16 seconds) in the 400-meter hurdles semifinals and was part of the Huskers' 4x400-meter relay team that had the 15th-best time (3 minutes, 7.72 seconds) in the semifinals. Neither qualified for Friday's finals.
