Robia QasimyarCareer Services Coordinator
Robia joined the College of Engineering in May 2019. As Career Services Coordinator on Scott Campus, Robia is here to provide our students with career readiness support. Such support includes working one-on-one with students on their resumes and cover letters, as well as enhancing their interview skills. Additionally, she teaches ENGR 200—an 8-week career development seminar every Fall/Spring semester. Robia keeps in regular contact with industry and works to build strong connections between them and our students through various panels, workshops, and events during the school year. She also works alongside College of Engineering faculty and Engineering Student Services staff to organize the annual Durham School Career Fair.
Robia obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in May 2016 and her Master of Public Administration in December 2018, both from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She has over five years of student support experience, most recently as Graduate Assistant for the Goodrich Scholarship Program.
