Favorite Memory of UNL
My favorite memory of UNL was during the bowl trip my freshman year. I was in the marching band all 4 years of college, but this trip from my first year still sticks out in my memory. Five of my friends and I Ubered to downtown Nashville, and we stayed out extremely late walking around the city finding cool buildings. We went to the state capital, some hotels, and restaurants. It was perfect night that I'll never forget.
Future Plans
I will be attending Purdue University this coming fall to pursue a PhD in mechanical engineering. My focus area will be thermal fluids. I'm very excited for the opportunities that Purdue has in store.
Who/What has inspired you during your college career?
My advisor, Dr. Gogos, has inspired me the most during my college career. He brought me into his research lab at the end of my sophomore year, and it has been a great experience since then. I didn't have a clear idea what I wanted to do when I graduated until he told me about graduate school. It opened my eyes to a whole area I hadn't even considered, and I'm very thankful for it.
