Kelsey Bohling

Kelsey Bohling is a senior Agricultural Engineering major, who calls Johnson, Nebraska, home. Beyond Tau Beta Pi, she is an active member in the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) and is a student worker at the National Soil Survey Center in downtown Lincoln. She has interned at NECO and CNH Industrial and has completed a co-op at Altec. When she isn’t busy, she helps out on the family farm or sits back with a good book.

August McClenahan 

 

August McClenahan is from Valencia, California and is pursuing a triple major in Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Math. In addition to Tau Beta Pi, he is involved with Pi Tau Sigma, a Resident Assistant, and a teaching assistant. He studied abroad for two semesters in Singapore, another two in South Korea, and taught English for a summer in China. In his free time he loves to go biking and baking chocolate chip cookies.

Daniel Johnson

 

Daniel Johnson is a senior Chemical Engineering student from Omaha, Nebraska. He also holds leadership positions in AIChE and eSAB. When he's not preoccupied with math or distillation, he's conducting research in Dr. Nejati's lab, being a TA for CHME 113, or working with the Industrial Assessment Center. He has had two internships, one with the Partners in Pollution Prevention program and one with Land o'Lakes. In his free time, he enjoys running, cooking, and playing with yeast.

Michaela Heimes is a senior Mechanical Engineering major from Norfolk, Nebraska. Currently she is also involved in the Engineering Student Advisory Board, Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, and works as a mentor for the Roads Rails and Race-Cars After-School Program. During her time on campus she has also enjoyed volunteering for organizations such as Girls on the Run and Dance Marathon. Michaela is excited about her last year at UNL and is ready to cheer on the Huskers! GBR!

Alex Hurby is a senior in Biological Systems Engineering from Omaha, Nebraska. When she isn't studying or working on campus, you can find her reading in a local coffee shop, spending time with friends, or playing basketball. After graduation, Alex plans to pursue a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on musculoskeletal biomechanics and injury prevention, with the hope of one day working in the rehabilitation engineering field.

Paul Barnes is a Senior Chemical Engineering student from Omaha Nebraska. Outside of Tau Beta Pi, he is an Educational Outreach Co-Chair for UNL’s AICHE chapter, an undergraduate research assistant, and a member of UNL’s Industrial Assessment Center. Paul has internship experience at Hormel through UNL’s Partners in Pollution Prevention program.

Brooks Brennan

 

Brooks Brennan is a senior in Mechanical Engineering from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is also currently involved in the ME society at UNL, Pi Tau Sigma. When not doing schoolwork, Brooks enjoys anything involving the outdoors, such as running, hiking, swimming, biking, and snowboarding. After graduation, she plans to take a few months to travel before deciding on a career path. Throughout her time as a student, Brooks has been a tutor for the College of Engineering and has had an internship with a New Mexico based company called Solaero, a company which primarily focuses on the creation of solar panels.
