The Nebraska Tech+Engineering Career Institute (NTECI) is an invitation-only program for talented incoming first-year students in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Software Engineering at UNL. The Institute prepares you early for successful careers in your field of interest while allowing you to explore top employers in the Lincoln and Omaha tech communities, in the heart of the Silicon Prairie.
Benefits to students selected to be a part of this exceptional cohort include:
- Move to campus early, August 11 or 12 - early move-in fees and meals are covered by the Institute until your housing contract and meal plan begin!
- Make friends and valuable on-campus connections before classes even begin
- Explore the Lincoln and Omaha tech community through behind-the-scences access to organizations in the industry
- Earn credit for a required course, ENGR 20 “Engineering Sophomore Seminar,” upon successful program completion (See FAQs)
