Two engineering graduate students earn UNL honors

Two graduate students from the College of Engineering were among those honored on Jan. 15 at the Graduate Awards Reception at the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center.

Mechanical and Materials Engineering graduate student Yuchuan Shao was selected to receive the Outstanding Graduate Research Assistant Award for his work with MME assistant professor Jinsong Huang. Shao also received the Nebraska Center for Materials and Nanoscience Fellowship.

Phillipp Kuehne, a graduate student in Electrical Engineering, was one of three graduate students given the Folsom Distinguished Dissertation Award.
